These two 25Z5 tubes tested very strong with no
shorts on a Precision model 10-12 tube tester.
These two tubes appear to be NOS.
Despite the different form factors and different manufacturers, they
tested nearly identical. The 25Z5 was
designed as a line voltage full wave rectifier for use in hundreds of radio
models sold during the 1930s through the 1940s.
At this price two are a bargain.
They are not making any more of them
